When you hear peaches, you probably think peach pie and summer vibes. And we do love our peaches smoothie on a sweltering summer day, but don’t sleep on peaches’ winter potential. The rhubarb, sweet potato and date in peaches give it a warming tone, and the strawberry and peach are a much-needed burst of summer flavor during the colder months.

For this festive cocktail (or mocktail!), we’ve paired peaches with one of our favorite winter fruits: pomegranate. It gives the drink a lovely deep red color and the pomegranate seeds add a pop of flavor in every sip. One of the ingredients you won’t be able to see that adds a big nutritional punch is brown flax seeds. They don’t look like much but they’re packed with heart-healthy omega-3 fats and have been linked to a range of health benefits.

We like to enjoy this cocktail on New Year’s Eve, but it’s just as good on a random week day when just fancy a drink – we all have those days! And just switch out the alcohol for your favorite sparkling water if you’d rather have a mocktail. Either way, finish it off with a sprig of rosemary and the pomegranate seeds for maximum fancy-cocktail vibes.

This recipe takes just 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes of total time.

Ingredients

1 packet of kencko peaches

4 oz. of pomegranate juice

The juice of 1 lime

2 oz. of vodka

Ice

Champagne

Rosemary and pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions

In a kencko bottle, shake one kencko peaches with 4 oz cold water, 4 oz pomegranate juice, lime, vodka and ice.

Split the beverage evenly between two glasses (or help yourself to the larger of the two portions when nobody’s looking!), and top with champagne.

Garnish with rosemary and/or fresh pomegranate seeds.

For a mocktail, shake all the ingredients sans alcohol, and top with your favorite flavored sparkling water.

Cheers!
