REDS SMOOTHIES
Packed with bright flavors to match its vibrant color, reds is a guaranteed way to start your day on a positive note.
It’s the perfect way to start a summer morning, and just as useful as a morning pick-me-up when the weather outside is looking decidedly less appealing. To ramp up the summer mood even further, we’ve used mango and strawberries as the base for this smoothie bowl. But it’s the peanut butter that really brings it all together – imagine a PB&J in smoothie form. Sweet, with just a touch of salty nuttiness.
No smoothie bowl is complete without a generous selection of toppings. We particularly love crunchy granola, coconut flakes and a handful of additional berries on this one.
This recipe takes just 1 minute of prep and 3 minutes total time.
Ingredients
½ cup of frozen mango
½ cup of frozen strawberries
1 packet of kencko reds
1 tbsp of peanut butter (it’s going in a blender, so it will end up smooth regardless!)
1 cup / 240 ml of almond milk
Your choice of toppings. Our go-tos on this bowl are granola, berries, and coconut
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a blender (except the toppings, of course!), and blend until creamy.
Pour the smoothie into a bowl and smooth it with the back on a spoon to create a canvas for your toppings.
Decorate with your toppings of choice. You can never have too many!
