Whether you’re a morning person or not, this pink breakfast smoothie will make waking up a little sweeter. There’s something about gulping down a bright pink drink for breakfast that can’t fail to put you in a good mood. And you’ll feel even more smug knowing it’s packed with goodness too.

The great thing about breakfast smoothies is that you don’t need to chop or cook, griddle or bake anything, you just put everything in a blender, press a button and that’s breakfast done. For those of us who are averse to early mornings, smoothies are a savior. This one will keep you full thanks to the protein from the yogurt and the healthy fats in the nut butter.

We like to use oat milk as the liquid – it adds a nice sweetness and is creamier than many other non-dairy options, but go for whatever you have in your fridge. Coconut milk would add a nice tropical twist while soy would up the protein.

This recipe takes just 1 minute of prep and 3 minutes total time.

Ingredients

1 handful of frozen mango

1 handful of frozen banana

1 heaped tablespoon of Greek yogurt or an equivalent non-dairy option

1 tablespoon of your favorite nut butter

1 packet of kencko reds

1 cup of oat milk or another milk of your choice

Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth. If you like your smoothies thicker, start with half a cup of oat milk and add the rest in gradually until you reach your desired consistency.

Enjoy!
