GREENS SMOOTHIE
When you think of a daily dose of greens, you probably don’t think of mocktails, but the great thing about our greens smoothie is that it’s as versatile as it is tasty. Packed with pineapple, banana and kiwi, plus kale and spinach (of course!), greens is tangy and tropical, and perfectly tasty simply shaken with water. But on St. Patrick’s Day, we like to truly celebrate our greens with this crowd pleasing, batchable drink.
Pineapple juice forms the base of this lucky four-leaf-clover mocktail. Lime adds a zesty hit which compliments the spicy ginger notes in kencko greens. And then we like to add a few dashes of orange bitters to finish it off – they add depth and a lovely balance of sweetness and bitterness .
Top it all off with sparkling water – we like a citrus one to really level up the tang-factor – and then kick back and enjoy. Who said that getting your greens was boring?
This recipe takes just 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes of total time.
Ingredients
8 oz pineapple juice
1 lime
1 packet kencko greens
Orange bitters
Sparkling water
Instructions
In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice, pineapple juice, the juice of 1 lime, kencko greens, and a few dashes of orange bitters.
Shake well. (It’s not mandatory, but this’ll be a lot more fun if you get a dance on!)
Pour and strain over ice.
Top with sparkling water (we used a citrus one!) and a slice of fresh or dried lime.
